TATTOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I HAS A TATTOO!

My medical phobia kicked in just after starting and we took a break, and she was so totally nice. When we started again, I started to feel it again, but then she started talking to me and didn't stop, and I was perfectly fine after that. She was pretty awesome.

It hurt, but not too much. It honestly just felt a bit like she was slicing my skin with a razor. LOL And the tattoo only cost $50! I probably way over-tipped her ($20), but meh. She made my first tattoo better than it might have been (and I'd planned for it to cost more anyway). :)

My skin has an inky smell that I kinda like, and I already want another. *headdesk* But for now, I want a nap. :D

EEEEE! Lovely!

I am convinced that they put a bit of crack in the ink, so they keep you coming back for more *sagenod*

WORD. ::sigh::

LOL! Maybe!

Totally awesome. Mine is in the same place, it hurt like a bitch, but it literally took the guy about 45 to 60 seconds to make. I am going for another one soon, I second the possible crack theory.

It's so true...it's got me itching for my fourth :[

[identity profile] severity-softly.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
It would have been way faster had my body not threatened to crap out on me. LOL It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, though Steph says she said that after the first, and then her second and third hurt really badly because she was expecting them to be easy. Heh.

Yeah, I am sure my phoenix is going to hurt like a bitch. I would never convince myself otherwise even though I still want to get it done. I dont know if I will have the money though when my friend goes in August. My Leo tattoo only cost $40.

I know what you mean, a half hour after I got my first tat i wanted another one so bad! <3

*G* I did basically the same thing driving home! I went 'I want another one!' and the husband was all O.o

YAY! And OMG I know, as I was getting my first, I was already deciding what I wanted for my second. Now I have two designs I'm just itching to get, and I think I'm going to do the Emily one first. *G*

[identity profile] severity-softly.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
*G* yeah, I thought maybe it was strange that on the drive home, ten minutes later, I was like "I want another one!" *headdesk*

Yes, the Emily tatt sounds awesome!

[identity profile] mcgarrygirl78.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Emily tat? *is interested*

[identity profile] aoibhe.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I've always tipped heavily for my tattoos and piercings, so I don't think 20$ is over-doing it at all. :)

Yay for a tattoo! It looks lovely, darling. ♥

Well, it was like 40%, but I have no idea what the rules are there. But I even over tip waitresses 90% of the time.

Thanks!

How cool! Congrats! I'm very impressed that a medi-phobic could do that! I may have no excuse now.

[identity profile] severity-softly.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
You really don't. :P And I was very proud of myself, too! :D

Such a cool tattoo.

You make me not want to be a wimp and get the tattoo that I want.

...Problem is, I can't seem to settle fully on a design. I have at least two geek inspired tattoos that I tend to switch back and forth over.

One of them I am currently hesitant to get because I don't want it to look like I'm getting it just because of the recent movie. ^_^

Very nice! I have a thing for pictures of eyes in general and this I like a lot :D

Nice ink

[identity profile] slash-girl.livejournal.com 2009-07-15 02:54 pm (UTC)(link)
That's very nice, I like it.

And I'm finding piercing is kinda addictive--I got my tongue done and I'm getting an industrial done next week in my right ear. I'm already thinking about what I want to get done on my left ear....*g*

Thanks!

I had my belly button pierced a while back, but it never healed right, then my nose for a while before I got married. I LOVED that one, but my mother threatened me not to wear it at my wedding and it closed up on me. :( I want to have it redone, but I can't where I work now. Maybe some day.

I love industrials. The place I'd like to get one is supposedly extremely painful though, so it may never happen. Heh.
