Okay, I did watch tonight, and I just have a couple things to say.

1. I loved it. My R&Rs are going to start sounding like I'm a gushing gushing thing that gushes.

2. Emily's story. OMG. *snuggles her* Loved it. Loved that Dave was the one she told. And it just fit. There is part of why she wants a child so badly. *heart break* (ETA: Unlike most people, apparently, as I had no spoilers whatsoever and avoid discussing eps before they air, I didn't even know until about an hour before the episode that it was a Prentiss ep [someone told me]. So, I wasn't expecting her story like everyone else seems to have been. It was lovely.)

And her devotion to her friend, even though he stumbled SO badly. It takes a lot of compassion and care to watch someone do that to themselves and still love them even though you can't help and it tears your heart out to watch it.

4. Bar guy was Emily's baby daddy! *giggles*

5. And this is the important one. ;)

Oh, and ETA:

6. The nosebleed thing. The first thing I thought was "HOLY FUCK, THERE REALLY WAS SOME SORT OF TOXIN IN THE HOLY WATER!! OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK!"

*cough* Maybe it was meant to be one of those ways stress can affect your body, like they'd been talking about during the episode. *shrug*

Stress was the first thing I thought if when I saw the drop of blood. OK, stigmata was the first thing but that only lasted for a fraction of a second ; )

And I thought of you two with all the Rossi/Prentiss stuff. But I wasnt disappointed in my subtext department either. It was a magnificent episode.

Hee! Stigmata! *giggles* That's great! I panicked for a moment, then finally went, "well, this doesn't appear to be a cliffhanger ending, so they couldn't have poisoned her!"

*G* Innerslytherin and I have been wanting to write an AU to our own fic and actually get Emily pregnant with Dave's baby. This adds a whole new twist! :D

::POINTS:: YESPLS. Dude, even I spent half the episode going, "ZOMG PRENTISS/ROSSI HEEE!" Until the end, when I decided I wanted Morgan/Prentiss/Rossi. ::shrug::


Stress was the first thing I thought of @ nosebleed too, and was pretty good symbolism re: Emily and her close emotional connection throughout the episode.


Also, dude? I am sort of pissed I'm going to be out of town next week. ::g:: ThankFUCK I can download the episode quickly; I hate watching TV without TiVo.
