innerslytherin: First line of last 25 fics you wrote and try to find a pattern. At least 8 of these are co-written, so I'm counting only the first line I wrote in those fics. Also, some of these are unposted, and the first five are still wips. :P
1. Reid's mother never returned his letters. (Morgan/Reid, WIP)
2. Suffering. Spencer Reid understood suffering when he was very young. (Reid, gen, darfic, WIP)
3. Reid knew Hotch would still be at the hospital. (Hotch/Reid, WIP)
4. It was a short, sharp blow to the face, and it hurt, but the haze that settled into Reid's mind immediately after made it difficult to care. (Morgan/Reid, WIP)
4. Hotch knew it wasn't exactly nice, but he could never quite resist doing it. (Hotch/Reid, fluffy WIP *g*)
5. Her mother would hate it if she brought a black man home. (Morgan/Prentiss, WIP ...this is a fic I started in the middle, so it's very unlikely that will actually be the first line)
6. Hotch knew, or at least Reid was fairly certain Hotch knew, the reason that the team had gone out tonight. (Hotch/Reid, finished, in beta)
7. Hotch walked over from where he'd been speaking with the local police, stepping up behind Morgan and eying him for a moment before he looked at the body. (Hotch/Morgan, Hotch/Reid, Hotch/Morgan/Reid, finished, unbeta'd)
8. "You only want me drunk because it increases the probability of me dancing," Reid argued. (Morgan/Reid, finished, unbeta'd)
9. The jet had landed not too long ago. (Miles To Go Before We Sleep)
10. You didn't need a genius to tell you that exercise releases endorphins in your body that make you feel good, but he tells you anyway, and in much greater detail than you'd previously understood it. (Endogenous Opioid Polypeptide Compounds... note to self: stop naming fics things that you have to look up to remember. *snerk*)
11. "Reid?" (60 Watt)
12. The shot rang through the vale and Reid hit the ground hard, gasping as pain shot through his shoulder and chest and blood spattered his face. (Nerve)
13. Peter wasn't sure when it had changed, but it had. (An Intimate Alliance of Contradictions... *sigh* I guess this is still technically a WIP, too)
14. Remus was twelve when he had his first erection. (Remus' Favourite Toy)
15. The blade was so close that Remus had to close his eyes and hold his breath to keep still. (The Bet)
16. Peter, James and Sirius are busy bothering Evans and... well, various girls, in the case of Sirius, from what I've heard. (Ever-Fixed Mark)
17. Remus grunted and shifted away from the wall, but the weight of James' body kept him pinned.(A Week Prior)
18. Remus knew he wasn't supposed to be on this train. (Single Step)
19. Severus looked seriously at Remus, and Remus wasn't exactly sure what to expect. (On One Condition)

21. "Can't you just do a charm?" Peter asked curiously, tilting his head at Remus. (Untitled drabble, Remus/Peter)
22. In the wake of the final battle, the Ministry had gone off the deep end. (A Hundred Tiny Threads)
23. Wolfsbane, when brewed improperly, could kill. (Old Times' Sake)
24. Severus had already known, of course, before he'd headed down that darkened tunnel under the Whomping Willow, what he would find inside. (Even Ground)

Pattern? Hrm. The only pattern that I see if that within the first six listed, three of them have knowing ("knew") in them and one has understanding ("understood"), which is close, same concept... But then after that, I'm not sure I see a pattern. :P
