Snow, and a meme

So, supposedly we're getting 1-5 more inches of snow tonight between 7pm and 2am. Or so I'm told. I saw a few random flakes when I went to the Kroger, but nothing really. 2.5 more hours until snow, y/n? At least I'm off the next two days. :)

Something I wondered about.... this might be cheating actually, because this never had a CHANCE of making it onto the page. This was the fic where I started going "Hey, why am I always writing the chicks, dude?!" *G* We don't write RP style anymore, but we still tend to pick a character and write that character (though we'll take over entire exchanges from time to time if we're inspired), even if the internal monologue is one-sided. So far, I wrote JJ in our unposted Hotch/JJ, then Prentiss in our Rossi/Prentiss fic(s), and after that I wrote Garcia in our Garcia/Rossi fic. I'm not sure how I got nominated to be the chick all the time, but it's really weird. :P Not Bad, just odd.

Oh, also, I/we learned that you can write girl parts without using the word "juices." ;)

I learned that having worked too many years at Petsmart could somehow pay off in writing fanfic. That whole scene in the backyard when Dave is making burgers? That was me going "My fish geekery, let me show you it." ;) I'll also add that this was the fic in which I fell in love with the pairing. I liked them before. This fic was what cemented them in my head.

Also, that fic is part of the Conscious of Our Treasures universe The first two got posted out of order, but it is a series, and there's more coming around Valentine's Day!

The Fathers Are Not Born stories? Because the way you've managed the Haley-Hotch-Reid-Jack relationships dynamic fascinates me. (I originally had slashes between the names, but I changed it to hyphens because when I re-read the sentence, it looked like I was referring to a reeeeally fucked-up fic... lol).
