Taking an unexpected break from picking the songs on random today. By request (sort of). I got a PM today asking what my journal banner quote ("I am not human; I am Helium Raven, and this movie is mine!") means, so I thought it fitting to share this song, since the quote is not only on my banner, but also my journal title/subtitle/name (which occasionally changes but always goes back to Helium Raven)/graphics community name/etc. I've actually thought about buying a rename token and changing to that, except, horror of horrors, it's taken. :( Anyway, the quote is from the amazing Patti Smith's Birdland, and at the 4:50 mark in this vid. Enjoy.
ETA: Heh. I went to PM the person back, and it won't allow me to PM because they have themselves set to private (?), they have no entries to comment on, and no email address. Um. So. Maybe they'll get their question answered, and maybe they won't see this at all. Either way, it's an awesome song. :)
