[LJ2ME] Kids' stories for Xmas

Okay, guys. I was tossing an idea around for my four year old niece for Xmas. I write, and the husband draws. I was thinking we could make her a book, with me writing a story and the husband illustrating, and maybe we could laminate it so she couldn't tear it apart. I'm not sure if this is a good idea, or if it's dumb.

It would, of course, require coming up with a story idea appropriate for a four year old, though, and I'm stumped.

Any suggestions/ideas/etc are welcome.
