You dropped out of the doc too soon to see my reply. Which was this:

Are you eyeing ME like that to try to get me to write it with you? I have no idea how to write D/s. But you know, you can get me to try anything. *sigh*

Actually?

Well, I want to do it, and if you join me it would be lovely! If not, I'll start a fic and maybe finish it six months later. >.>

I don't think one has to top to be dominant. I don't buy into the whole topping/bottoming as an issue of power/powerplay so much as an issue of enjoyment. In fact, I know a lot of people who hate even the terms "top" and "bottom" because people often act like the acts themselves are an indicator or power in a relationship, and they're not. A top CAN be the dominant partner, but I don't think they HAVE to be.

That said, I like a top Spencer, and I've written it on my own and with [livejournal.com profile] innerslytherin. I would like to write Spencer topping Dave, actually, but the fic that's inspiring this is a fic in which Spencer is displaying dominant tendancies as a bottom, and I LOVE the way that turns the notion of top/bottom that a lot of people (like you) have on it's ear. :)

Re: Actually?--Shame on me.

Actually, I totally get what you're saying with the dominant on the bottom--I've played that way and loved it. I think I'm just so used to the general populace not understanding the top/bottom vs D/s distinction at all, that I read dominant and assumed you meant top? Even though I know better, and have the real-life experience to prove it. Oh well. Some days I lose.

I think dominant-bottom Spencer would be awesome, and in the event that it turns out I will love reading it.
