Well, we don't have too many Krispy Kremes around here (we don't even have them properly, you get them at some airports/train stations and Tescos) but I've never seen ones that don't have maple. Which is omnomnom my favourite TOO!

They're just regular glazed donuts, only sweeter and slimier than your standard glazed donut. I have never understood the fuss over them and their seventeen thousand calories per serving.

Mostly, I HATE cake doughnuts, which seem to be the main alternative. Plus that huge amount of calories makes it nom-licious, though certainly not something to eat every day. And they're perfect and fluffy and mmmm... I will never understand the dislike of them. lol

Oh I'm totally with you on the cake donuts - those are little circles of grossness. I like regular ol' glazed donuts. I don't know what it is about the stuff Krispy Kreme puts on theirs, but if you don't eat them as soon as they come off the little conveyor belt they're just rings of slimy sugar.

*G* See, I think the glazing gets a little dry once they've sat and that it makes them deliciously "crusty". I like it, but the ones that are still fresh and warm really are made of win. :)
