one of my first dates with my husband was at a Mudhoney gig. He stage-dived and as I watched his converse allstars disappear into the crowd I thought - what a superstar! *g*
They were having a drink afterwards and I think he drunkenly told them that they weren't as good as the Flaming Lips and they agreed. *g*

DUDE. How awesome! I saw them when they toured for My Brother the Cow, and they were very cool. I was 15, and my sister had to take my and my friend to 1) drive, and 2) keep an eye on us. She had a raging ear infection, poor dear, but she took us anyway and sat there with blaring music making her ear burst. lol
Man, I think maybe we DO have the same music collection. :P
