Lookie! I made a Fulchy icon!

I have had the worst headaches of all headaches for the last two days. Well, maybe not the worst; at least I don't get migraines like some of the people I love do. But they're pretty bad headaches on my scale of headacheyness. Yes, it's a word. >.> Anyway, maybe caffeine will help. I need to go get a Vault.

Annnd I'm back (several hours later, and mostly headache free). And speaking of back, I really want to get back in the swing of LJ and fandom again. I feel so distanced. I haven't read my flist in ages, and I haven't written a solo fic in a long time. Also, [livejournal.com profile] innerslytherin has assured me that there are many lovely and talented people writing Rossi/Prentiss these days. Yum. :)

[livejournal.com profile] innerslytherin and I have posted two fics this month after a long drought. Oh, we've never stopped writing, but our fics have been sitting in Google Docs. "The Vault" as our friends have dubbed it. So we released two from the vault. The first one we posted this month was like 2 years old, to give you an idea of how freaking full the vault is. lol Hopefully we are going to keep going on posting. (And it's sort of amazing, after checking on the date of the first fic we posted this month, to realize just how long we've been in the CM fandom! Holy crap!)

The vomiting seems to be under control as long as I'm on acid blockers. They did an ultrasound to check me out and found nothing that would cause me to vomit, but found out I have a fatty liver. Hurray! Wonderfully irreversible, but I can take steps to keep it from getting worse. Anyway, back to the vomiting, though, this Thursday I get to sit in a hospital for several hours while they run some test to check my gallbladder, and then scope me. I hate hospitals. The last time I had to have a test run there, I laid on the gurney thing crying while I waited for them to take me in. Fun, fun, fun.

Also? I curse like a sailor coming out of anesthesia. XD

It's looking less and less like I might get promoted, which probably has to do with how much I've been sick this year. They also hired this new guy (I think I've mentioned him before. Loudmouth?) who has hotel management experience. And I've recently found out that when the managers have both been gone, they have been leaving certain people "in charge". Never me. And maybe that's because more problems happen on second shift, but its still makes me feel on shaky ground. *sigh* I think maybe it's time I REALLY start looking for a new job. One where I don't have to stand all day, don't have to deal much with the public, and preferably have benefits. I mean, we have insurance through the the husband's job, but paid time off and vacation time would be awesome.

Oh. Awesome. The headache is back. *headdesk*
