Stupid computery question
Jun. 3rd, 2009 01:24 pmWhat file type plays on DVD players? Is it .dvd? I'm downloading a "brown noise" file to help me sleep (I've been running the fan all night, but it's not loud enough, and I'm going to burn the motor out, so I want something I can loop and play in the bedroom DVD player), and it's only available in .mp4 and .wma. There's a converter I can DL to convert files to .mp3, .wav, .aac, .amr, .ogg, and .mp2. I don't know what most of those file types are for. Will any of them work in a DVD player? If not, is there a free converter anyone can recommend? Or would someone who has a converter that would work be willing to convert it for me if there aren't free converters available? I could probably move the CD player in there if that won't work, and if so, I assume .mp3 will play on it? *is sometimes clueless*
