severity_softlyOkay, firstly, let me just say that so, so many of you wished me a happy birthday yesterday, and in one particular journal, people not even on myflist were pouncing me in comments to wish me a happy birthday. That's not even to mention those of you who commented to my letter to 28. I feel incredibly grateful to have so many wonderful friends onLJ these days, so THANK YOU to those of you who wished me well. It meant a lot to me.
A few of you deserve special mention though, partially because YOU ALL SHOULD READ THE FIRST TWO LISTED, and partially just because!

In RL, I met my parents for Asian food: sushi, Thai soup and calamari salad (that my parents tried to eat most of!) I got a gigantic piece of orange cake too, that was so good I told my husband that we're going back for his birthday for more, whether that's where he wants to go or not. :P I didn't do anything overly exciting, and it was a shame "Criminal Minds' present to me" (that the first ep of the new year was on my birthday) was not very exciting either. Tonight the husband took me to Red Lobster where I orderedone of the most expensive things on the menu lots of good food. It's been ages since we've been there, and I'm glad we went...
...even if he refused to wear the bread basket on his head and do me a birthday jig. Bastard. ;)
