I just don't have a creative bone in my body. I would struggle writing a sentence. My daughter on the other hand has already started writing short stories. Pretty good for a 10 yr old.

She has one she is 'working on' as she puts it at the moment, and she keeps going back to it and adding more and changing things around. She wants to write books when she's older.

My advice? Encourage that, but also encourage any practical skills she might have, so she can actually get a job she enjoys. LOL (My parents were so super supportive of my creative writing major, but they didn't ask what I was going to do for a job. Heh.)

Oh believe me I do encourage it. She also loves music and has been playing the Clarinet for a year now. She's awesome at that too. She goes to the local High School every Tuesday afternoon for lessons as part of her schooling. Last year she got an A for both semester 1 and 2. I really don't want to seem like I'm bragging about her, but she is quite intelligent. Her school have tested her and she is at a 14yr old intelligence in a lot of areas.

She also loves animals! She says she either wants to be a writer, Vet or play the Clarinet in the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and travel around the world. She doesn't get her intelligence from me. My brother is a Scientest and he travels to America, Germany and France frequently. He's one of her inspirations.

Well, technically, this is 2 sentences. It WANTED to be a drabble, but I put my foot down, and then cheated by using the semincolon instead of a period. >.>

When the zombie attacked Spencer instead of Garcia, he could sort of understand her gentle teasing; he thought the victory dance she did was a bit excessive, but when she tripped on the cord of her game controller in the process, he didn't mind so much.
