FUCK FUCK FUCK I FUCKING HATE FIRE EPISODES. THEY SCARE THE FUCKING PISS OUT OF ME!
Have I ever mentioned my biggest irrational fear in regards to my own death is that I'll die by fire or suffocation? *CRINGES AT TV*
*ahem* Okay, after my initial freak out... Mmm, incest. *giggles*
So, okay, there wasn't TOO much that made me freak out. I thought the episode was pretty solid. Not fabulous, but good. :D Hotch really does tend to react more strongly to fire episodes. I'd like to think there's a reason, because it's been consistent, but I wonder if there is, and if we'll ever know it.
As Innerslytheirn pointed out, there was Hotch in casual clothes and several Rossi ass shots. Mmmm... There was also Morgan seemingly not wearing a shirt under his sweater at the beginning, and Reid in a sweater vest with pretty hair. The men were very lovely tonight.
*cough*
There were... way too many shots of Garcia in slow motion looking worried. I got it the first 12 times. But it was nice to see her in a more integral part this episode. The ending was wonderful, though. I love that Hotch went to her. I would have liked it if he'd at least touched her, squeezed her shoulder or something. He's a tactile person, and she really needed it.
I think the ending is worthy of Hotch/Garcia-ness. Or maybe I just want to eventually put everyone in bed with everyone else.
I liked it, even if the fire scenes freaked me the hell out. It still wasn't nearly as bad as that opening scene in Ashes to Dust.
