Today's brain leakage

Hey, you know what you guys probably never think about? The fact that your wrist moves pretty much constantly when you're not asleep. Yeah. I hadn't ever had reason to think about that either, until just the last few days. This tattoo scab is going to drive me up the fucking wall. IJS.

Been reading, and black/grey tatts heal faster, but high motion areas heal slower. And somehow I'm guessing motion trumps color. Ashjgkhasjgk. Nobody ever tells you about the nasty, scabby healing phase when you get a tattoo until it's too late. I'd do it again. But ijs.

OH! LAST NIGHT I DREAMED THAT THOMAS GIBSON WAS TEACHING ME HOW TO GOLF! HEEEEEEEE. It was brilliant. And when he sank his first ball, he had the biggest grin on his face. I wanted to tackle him to the grass and make out. Or more. IJS.

Had a really yummeh dinner last night. Found Kroger brand marinades on sale for $1 each (!!!), and it was awesome. Whacked the crap out of a chicken breast with a frying pan (Husband: Don't we have a meat tenderizer? Me: No. Husband: Are you sure? Me: Yes. Husband: You should probably get one. Me: I bet this is more fun.), marinaded it, then made it with steamed brussel sprouts, asparagus, and carrots. Mmm.

I'm in a fairly good mood today. Let's just hope K doesn't call down and harsh my buzz all day, like she did yesterday. I am this close (my fingers are very close together, you see) to telling her off.

Isn't a meat tenderizer that tool that looks like a square mallet covered with spikes?

I'm still a vegetarian so I think I gave one that came with a utensil set away a long time ago. Tofu just doesn't hold up to be whacked like that. Sploosh! Sploosh!

(Though I do eat fish and made up a terrible sad story for a visiting child about it yesterday, about how I was a vegetarian who sometimes ate a poor dead little fish that hadn't done anything to deserve it. Hope she doesn't have nightmares.)

Yeah, it's pretty much a mallet. I haven't actually seen one for ages. My dad had a heavy metal (rock on) one when I was a kid, but I've seen a bunch of TV chefs just use a frying pan. Usually on pork, though.

LOL Unless you want that mushed up egg-like dish! Though a meat mallet is still probably a little excessive.

OMG THAT'S AWFUL! *G* But also sort of funny. The husband is a pescatarian as well. I've gone through phases, everything from what I am now to vegan. I actually felt REALLY healthy on a vegan diet, but it's SO hard to maintain.

My tat is in the same place and took about 2 weeks to scab, get icky, make me want to scractch like a cat with fleas. Then the scab fell off and it was just fine. Now I ctach sight of it sometimes and I'm like "Oh yeah, my tattoo" I got mine in my right wrist because it wouldnt be covered by my watch and forgot about things like writing and typing.....it was a real bitch for a while.

Your dream sounds a lot better than mine, totally. I get Hotch sometimes but never Thomas Gibson *is jealous*

I am prepared to handle K if she harshes your buzz....I am happy you're happy. Oh, and beating the hell out of that chicken might have helped. Studies show getting out the frustration can work wonders. Its why I am working on getting those nunchuks : )

It looks SO gross, and the scab is all cracking because it moves so much. I'm paranoid about it healing well, but also just annoyed with it atm. Thankfully, I wear my watch on my left wrist and considered that and the writing situation ahead of time. Still, I have to be careful because it's exactly where I rest my wrist on the desk normally.

Mmm, it was lovely. Just a shame there was no nekkidness. ;)
