Anyone think eating canned food that expired in the early 2000s will make me sick? I mean, it's canned. As long as it's undamaged, it's not going to hurt me, right?

ETA: Canned potatoes that expired on 2003 taste good. Slightly tinny, but it's almost unnoticeable. I'm eating them with butter, salt and pepper right now. Old can (no exp date) of pasta with white sauce? Smelled so tinny that I felt nauseous. Dumped the rest of that stuff.

It's an old food adventure, people! Now let's see if I survive the potatoes! *waits*

But bacteria shouldn't be able to get into a can if it's sealed right, and after this long a badly sealed can would be obvious, right? I don't expect it to taste very good, but I may try it and pray for my intestines, if it smells and looks good in the can.
