It's Sunday. Joy. A day of boring work. I was supposed to have yesterday off, but I got called in because someone else was sick. At least I got to go to the movies before I went in to work. We had movie gift certificates from Xmas, so me and the husband went out to see Alice in 3D. It was very good. Of course, what would you expect with Johnny Depp and/or Tim Burton? Anyway, I worked until 11, so I wound up just spending the night at work. I had to come right back and work again in 8 hours anyway. I didn't see the point in going home.

So I am planning to mention moving up to management to my boss. I just can't decide who to talk to. I would imagine the owner is the one in charge of promoting, etc. But his wife is the GM here. She would be easier to talk to, but I'm not sure if it's cheating to go to her when he's probably the one handling it. She IS his wife, though, so I know it will get back to him, and I see her more often. What do you guys think?

Feeling okay on the Wellbutrin. Not crying anymore. I still wish my creativity would return in full force. I hate not being able to come up with ideas to write and/or write the ideas I have. :(

Talk to the GM. Going straight to him is going over her head, which I would not recommend you do. You should follow the chain of command. And bonus points, she's easier to talk to : )

I'm glad you at least got to go to the movies yesterday and also glad you're not crying as much anymore...I was worried about you.

I'm crossing all appendages that good things are about to happen for you *hugs*

Definitely talk to the GM (even though she's married to the owner). Chain of command is very important in the corporate world. If you went straight to the owner, even though they are married, the GM could be offended by that, and that would not be good.
You're still in the adjustment phase of your meds. Unfortunately, total relief does not come quickly when dealing with SSRIs. Hang in there. I'm glad you aren't as weepy. That's a good thing.
*HUGS*

I hadn't even thought about chain of command, but you and mcgarrygirl are totally right about that.

i KNOW TOTALLY RELIEF DOESN'T COME QUICKLY. i HONESTLY (oops, caps--I don't feel like retyping) think that part of why I'm not crying as much has more to do with the relief of trying something else than it is about the new med working already.

Yeah, what they said about the chain of command.

Also, I've noticed that you're doing a little better in our co-written stuff, as far as not getting stuck over the last couple of days. I think you're feeling good about trying new things, and that bit of relief is coming through.

Keep your chin up! *hugs*

Another vote for 'chain of command', plus the incentive of 'she would be easier to talk to'..this is always good. I'm very glad to hear the meds are working and I hope they continue to help you get better.

Glad you got to go the movies! *hugs*
