the aim one is a bit weird but, it might have been my connection at the time.

I should also mention? I am a poor/cheap person so if it aint free...it not gonna happen LOL.

as for some others....the free flashlight sucked, the free airplane mode was ok, kinda lame, but doesnt matter b/c the wifi on planes isnt free. LOL.

Huh, I have never heard of Pandora, so I'll check that out!

I was thinking about DLing a cheap flashlight, but there's a free one? On the bb website, I guess?

Omfg!!! Pandora is the most epic thing ever. Like half of my fav bands came from them. (Basically you pick an artist, then it finds similar artists (not always SO similar but usually in the same idea) and you either thumbs up/thumbs down and it tailors the playlist to what u like. And they do have quite a bit of obscure indie stuff too. :) like srsly one of my fav bands is this swedish indierock girlfronted group named monkeystrikes (iknow lol) that basically you can find no real info for on the net. :D

Yes, to be completely redundant bberry has a (free) app (blackberry app world) that let's you browse more apps!!!

And the free one didn't work at all...but then again, downloaded it while drunk, stumbling down a hill to a pitch black field turned parkinglot trying to find the car. (It was so dark I literally couldn't see an arms length ahead) lol.
(And for the record no I was not driving)

It may have been that it was too dark to even set it up? But even in the car it didn't really work.
But since its free, I'd give it a shot. Lol.

Ooh, how cool! I just DLed it and am playing with it now! My fav band is pretty obscure though, and in my case, they don't have them. :(

RASPUTINA! No way, they're on there! <3 <3 <3

RAASSPUTINAAAA! Um, try again? they're definately on there *laughs* b/c im listening to them now on pandora <3

try setting up the playlist on your computer possibly? it might not think too well on the query via the phone?

OT: but have you heard Matson Jones? when you get it working, if you haven't heard them, you will. They're one of the bands I fell in love with from my Rasputina playlist. :D

AFKAJSGKL;GJAS YOU'RE A RASPUTINA FAN!?!?! THEY ARE HARD TO FIND! *BEAMS*

Yeah, I found them on the site. The bb kept trying to correct what it thought was a misspelling. lol

I haven't heard them/him. My laptop doesn't handle Pandora very well. It kept crashing, so I only heard one other song by The Tiny, which was good. Pandora works fine on the bb, though, and I'm sure it would be fine on the husband's desktop, too. My laptop is just a little buggy. lol

Hehhee yes!!!! I've been a fan for yeaaarrsssssss. Heheh I do love their qwerkyness :)

Oo I like the tiny too! I guarantee that if u keep listening matson jones will pop up hehe. They're more cello rock tho more alt than goth :)

Yeah pandora on web can be a bit intensive. I tend to use my bb more for listening b/c the app is a bit more loose w/ your skips :)

Awesome! I was really into Marilyn Manson in high school, and heard he remixed Transylvanian Regurgitation, so I checked them out and fell in love. That was... 13 years ago, my God I'm old! LOL They recently came to Knoxville, though, and I got to see them live. It was amazing! :)

I'm psyched, though. I have this weird thing for classical instruments in rock music. Totally dig it. :)

Haha my pseudogothness in hs attracted a senior when I was a freshman who wanted to date me so he tried wooing me with music. The wooing was a fail but soo much good music came out of it. (Oh kittie and jack off jill and rasputina etc)

Haha *hugs* you're not old you're just more mature now. (But I have had the same freakout quite a lot lately lol. An acquaintence I'd lost touch w/ ended up giving me a haircut the other day and we were cHatting and I was like all "well you're still totally young. You're what 18 now?" And she was like nooo ill be 21 soon and I almost cried lol.)

You are soooooooo lucky to have seen them live!!!! Most people skip florida on their tours and I don't have anyone to be a co-pilot anymore so I can't road trip it. So lame. :( I miss music and culture. Lol.

I do too! They totally add a sweet awesome dimension to it!!!

Oh, off the top of my head: bonfire madigan is bound to pop up, she's cello singer songwriter; and anni rossi maaayyybe who is an indie singersongwriter who plays violin

:D enjoy pandora, it is srsly an epic musical door opener!!

And ty for the friending! :) <3

I know Kittie and Jack Off Jill! I sort of got bored with them, but I liked them for a time. If you like Jack off Jill, though, try Human Waste Project. Similar styles, but I like Human Waste Project WAY better.

LOL Are you saying 21 is old to you?! Or that it made you feel old? *G*

You know, TN used to be really bad about getting a lot of entertainment traffic because the entertainment tax was so freaking high. But lately they've gotten some cool people come through. I'm a stand up comedy geek, and I got to see Lewis Black last year, and got a picture with him. It was awesome. :)

How could I not friend someone with such good taste in music?! :D

I am looking them up now!!! and OMG they're fronted by Aimee Echo!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahah <3 I bought The Start's (first?) CD on a total whim when i was like....12? and it's still one of my fav cds. SO needless to say? I fucking love Human Waste Project. <3 <3 <3 tysm!!! I am the happiest girl everrrrr right now.

hahaha No, 21 made me feel old. because in my head she's still the dumb little teenager LOL. (And it made me realize that I'd been gone longer than I thought....I did booking/photography for the dying local music scene and after I got fed up with the singer of the band I managed being a world class douchebag to me I just kind of vanished....and i thought it was only a year (i have an awful sense of time...) but apparently? it was almost 3? lol.

SO AWESOME :D I'm glad you're getting a revival <3 some pretty cool indie people hit Tampa for like Janus Landing etc, but ugh, driving solo/with someone 2-3 hours and having to head back b/c i cant afford a hotel at like 2am is just ugh. :/ We played a show in Port Charlotte that lasted til last call (2 am) and didn't get home until like....almost 4am. To the point that the 24hour McDonalds was already serving breakfast.... lol.

:D hehe I try. <3 That's the one good thing one of my ex's did for me...I stole half of his cd collection. (don't worry, he deserved it and they were all pirated :P)

You're welcome. My husband introduced them to me when we were still dating because he saw I was playing a Jack Off Jill CD. :) I've not heard of The Start. I'll have to check them out when I get home from work. *g*

Oh, man, I have done the driving 2-4 hours alone then driving back that night because you're broke thing. Even though Kville is getting better, I still occasionally have to go to Nashville/Chattanooga/Atlanta to see bands/comics. If I know far enough in advance, I try to get the next day off from work, but if I can't, it can really suck. :/ At least I have the hubby to share driving cuties with most of the time, though.

So you're in a band/manage a band? Cool. Indie music?

hehe, that is true love! <3 thestart is pretty much if Human Waste Project were poppy lol.

yessss :( it suuucks. I could never get off the next day...seriously for like 2 years I got less than 25 hours of sleep a week. It was awful. It got to the point where I would snag naps wherever I could, including the bass player's couch while they practiced. Yes :D I need a S.O. so they can drive LOL.

Past Tense, but yeah I managed an indie-acoustic band (that did noooot fit in at all with our music scene but we made it work). despite being acoustic it was....still pretty powerful. Sadly due to the singer I can't even listen to them anymore. especially since he manipulated me out of a contract/commission deal for the album art. yeaahh 9 months designing their cd by hand doing all the photos and layout and i didnt get paid a cent and get no cut off their profits. Good thing for me? they're not going anywhere so I wont miss out on much. *rolls eyes*
Last I heard the local music scene has withered and died here...oh well.
It was a fun 2 years, I really wouldn't trade the experience, but definately something I'm done with. Lol. I like sleeping.

Google maps, esp the traffic part, solitaire, just downloaded a police scanner but haven't gotten it to work yet. "where" finds any restaurants, starbux, etc near your location, dictionary/thesaurus (I love words).
