Storms in the south...

Got the back window of my car completely smashed out in the storms. Only one in my parking lot with more than hail dents. It sucks... But looking at the news, I'm incredibly lucky that that was all the damage I encountered, and that my friends and family are safe.

How are all the southerners out there on my flist?

Wow, this weather is so scary. We've been calling and checking on my family in Georgia and Arkansas. So far, so good, but there is so much damage.

The worst of it passed DC by, but there's been some serious damage in Virginia near my uncle and his family. The big worry here is the Potomac is already high and the runoff from these storms is causing flooding before our new levees are built.

And I'm really glad you're okay other than a car window.
