*happy sigh*

This is lovely, even without the smut. (I'll let it pass this time, but don't let it happen again! *lol*)

Seriously, great story--I like how they both pretend Hotch is in charge but it's really Reid. Love how Hotch really wants Reid to be in all parts of his life and to be in his son's life. And Hotch is right, it takes time to get used to kids. I don't have any of my own, but I work at an elementary school--I didn't think I'd like it and it took me a while to get used to dealing with the little ones but now I love the age group (for the most part! *lol*).

Thank you, ladies, for a wonderfully sweet and charming story...so, will we get a follow up with a Hotch, Reid and Jack weekend? *G*

LOL That depends entirely on how able [livejournal.com profile] severity_softly feels to write a toddler. :D (*puts writing partner on the spot*) because I am SO a carrier of the Reid Effect it's not funny. Or, wait, that's not quite it...I don't like kids, but they always seem drawn to me.

I'm glad you liked this! From the moment Prentiss asked Reid about kids, I was imagining Reid with Jack, so of course I hounded Severity into writing this. (I really had to twist her arm, haha.)

I sorta kinda had a tiny partial bunny, dude.

And a toddler in my family that I adore.

Oh, I misread and thought you said how well 'severity and I'. Oh, so the toddler is all me? *eyes you*

*G* Well, we now have 2 other finished H/R fics I've been poking innerslytherin a little more *G* (one that's a Christmas fic, though, so it'll be a little while) that have smut, so never fear. ;)

I'm glad you like it! I've actually been wanting to write a 'Jack has two daddies' story for a while (to be perfectly honest, with H/Rossi, but this fic has bunnied me a little on a H/R one). And I used to say I hated kids, but I now have a 2 1/2 year old niece that I adore. Children unrelated to me, I'm still not good with, but still. lol

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! :)

Awww This was wonderful! I really enjoyed it. It was so nicely written. And kinda realistic too. Cause yeh....having kids is scary!

I love their conversation. There is just so much love and committment there. Tis beautiful. Somehow I think Reid would make a great step daddy. I mean sure, it would take him time to get used to it, and he would probably be all nervous and fumbly but I think he would grow to love it.

I also loved it when Hotch was talking about not being ready to be a teenagers father. Um yeh...I can relate to that. My daughters 10 and in a few more years off to high school. Now that is scary.

Thanks for sharing!
