3) Prentiss - I'm not sure they really understand each other very well. Like and respect each other? Yes. True understanding? Not so much.
4) Gideon - Mentor? Yes. Replacement father figure? Yes. Would he fuck those things up by letting sexual/romantic shit get in the way? No. Would he even ever feel that way about someone he sees as a mentor/father figure? NO. And... just look at Gideon. Ew. Just Ew.

I need to write fic involving H/R at a drive in2) He still loves Haley, but not in the sense that he would ever want to be with her again. He understands that their time has passed, but he was with her for SO LONG, he couldn't possibly just shut off the love he felt. He will unnecessarily defend her when anyone speaks badly of her,partly because of that lingering love, but mostly because he blames himself for the breakup of his marriage.
3) He prefers Spongebob Squarepants over Dora the Explorer. Unfortunately, Jack prefers Dora, and toddlers tend to get their way in such matters. :D
