I would mostly use slacks for women's wear, when I use it at all--but it could be used for mens as well. I'm more likely to use pants for both than slacks.
And I've never had soup that good. *G* But I'm not a big soup fan, either.
Slacks is the term my grandmother used for pants. If I use a word other than pants, I'm inclined to say trousers. Though I know that's the HP ficcer in me.
(Also, I originally typed "Slash is the term my grandmother used"...and I totally can't imagine my grandmother talking about gay sex. *sporfle*)
