OMFG! I wrote about 2000 words of Big Bang fic today at work on the Portable Apps version of AbiWord. Took my usb home and tried to open it. It gave me an error, then the doc disappeared from the list of recent docs. WTF?

As much as I don't like the idea of this doc sitting around at work, I HAD BETTER find 2k worth of manipulative, ultra-bitchy, withdrawing from opiates!Reid on that computer when I get there tomorrow. HAD BETTER. OR I WILL HURT SOMEONE.

ARGH.

(Please note: "infuriated" might be a bit strong of a mood choice. It's really more like "pissed", but my infuriated mood is so pretty, yes? And I've never used it before. >.>)

While I am definitely not laughing at the situation, I totally feel your pain, your "please note" did give me a good giggle. Definitely hope you find your bigbang at work tomorrow....I feel confident it will be there.

I just finished mine and sent it off to my beta. I feel 80 pounds lighter and now want to write some ficlets to make up for lost time. I havent wrriten anything but that in like 6 days.

I really hope it's there. It was an insired little scene and it would suck to have to try and recreate it. I am going to proceed from where it left off and just hope I can find it tomorrow. I save a million times and set the program to autosave every minutes, since I sometimes have to click out of things at work too fast to save properly. It has GOT to be somewhere.

And YAY YOUUUUU! I'm at about 7k (including the part I may have lost), so I've got a ways to go.

What kind of error did you get? Was it related to the antivirus thing that I was having issues with last night?

No, nothing to do with antivirus. I don't recal what the message was. I clicked okay, then went to try again, and the doc listing was gone, so I only saw the message once.
