Ahh, Marilyn Manson. I know this sounds so cliche, but I LIKED THEM BEFORE THEY WERE FAMOUS! *cough* No, but really, I've gone to see them live three times, and the first time was in this little tiny club in a little shit town in northern Cali. It was within a year of Sweet Dreams becoming their first huge massive hit, and someone threw a beer bottle at his head and he had to run off stage for a few minutes. Also, my best high school friend, Phil, nearly got beat up outside the club by a skinhead who wanted his boots. Good times.
Oh, and another one of my major early crushes was from this band: Twiggy Ramirez. Yum. :)

Date: 2009-11-04 05:35 pm (UTC)I thought Antichrist Superstar got really generic and commercial jiggle-y. I actually avoided them for a while after that, but then I started hearing songs from The Golden Age of Grotesque and got back into them.
