As it turns out, I didn't have to call C. She called me.

She asked me to go to a meeting in Kodak with some of the other girls from our home group, but I agreed to go out even before she told me what "come out with us tonight" was. lol

Anyway, it was a speaker meeting, and C was speaking, and it turned out to be pretty good. The whole group went to eat at Huddle House afterward. We filled three booths and part of the counter, and the waitress was pretty rude (though she got real nice when it was time for us to go and tip her >.<). I enjoyed it, even if I was the odd man out and the quietest one in the group. A couple others I know are planning to speak at that meeting on the next two Thursdays, so maybe I'll go again if I'm asked.

I think I want to ask C to sponsor me, but I can never seem to get her alone.

Also, I don't want to go back to work tomorrow. :(

Hey, she obviously likes you. And she's reaching out to you, so it's possible she's even thinking about offering, but hasn't gotten you alone yet. :)

I don't think offering is kosher. I think they want you to makethe effort. I was going to say that when we wrote that scene withJohn in Miles To Go, but ofcourse Ihadn't told you yet, so I kept my mouth shut. >.>

But that's interesting. I can see them wanting you to make the effort, but honestly, for introverts that doesn't seem very easy. It would be hard for me and I'm not nearly as shy as you are.

*G* It's not really supposed to be easy, I guess. I kind of agree with it, though. And I guess another reason other than making the effort is so the sponsee can decide who they think is best for them.

I am SO glad you went...even if you didn't have to make the phone call! I will join in the chorus of "You should call C...". And I'm glad to hear you had a good time at the meeting. I miss Huddle House...I haven't seen one for years, but I remember (I think) where the one used to be on the south side of Indy when we lived there. Of course the waitress got all chummy when it was time to tip her...I hope you didn't give her very much!
I hope they ask you again and that you are able to go!
