It's not fair that everyone else is getting good snow, and we are getting this:
This picture is the "snowiest" patch in our yard. I mean, I know it would be a pain to get a lot, but I've never in my life seen a big snow. I want to.
Yeah, we're getting slammed....snowiest winter in history and all. I wouldnt mind that little snowy patch but I know what you mean. I complained the last couple of winters because New England would get storms and we'd get five or so inches here and there. I guess Mother Nature got tired of my riffing. Snow is awesome but man, we're going to be cleaning up around here till summer I think.
Most of this morning I've been unable to see past the end of my balcony. When I can see, the snow is HORIZONTAL.
Maybe we can arrange a life switch this weekend? We're expecting another storm. You can watch the disappearing Capitol and I'll be able to walk somewhere. *G*
I've had 2 blizzards in under a week, which was awesome the first 4 days I was stuck in the house but is growing a bit old at the moment. So I'll keep my fingers crossed you get some of our snow, how's that sound for a trade?
That's about what we've had this afternoon in London. I suppose we might get some more overnight, but even so it'll probably only be an inch or two. Mind you, that will be enough to 'bring the capital to a standstill', as all the headlines put it.
I take it you didn't get any last year in the spring, I think it was. My daughter-in-law sent us photos of the 2 or 3 inches they got in Georgia! But maybe the whole thing stayed south of Tennessee. We've got some here I could send! But I understand the wanting to see alot of snow. It can be really pretty once you've dug yourself out of it, especially when the sun comes out.
